In-Person & Online Lessons (1:1 & Small Group)

Whether or not your child has an official dyslexia diagnosis, I can help. Lessons are individualized to cater to your child’s learning needs. They are designed to build your child’s literacy skills, but also to help their self-confidence soar. I use a multi-sensory teaching approach to keep your child engaged and learning effectively, even during online Zoom lessons.

Here is some information about my tutoring services.

I have lots of exciting projects in the works.

In-Person Tutoring

I am currently based in Melbourne, Australia (3103) and would love to work with your child in-person if the opportunity is right. This will be dependent on location.

Small Group Lessons

Are 1:1 lessons a bit on the pricey side, or do you think your child might respond well to a small group lesson environment? Very soon, I will be listing small group Orton-Gillingham lessons which I am sure your child will love. Stay tuned…

Online Lessons

The majority of my lessons are held online via Zoom. All lessons are engaging in nature and designed for your child to succeed. Many parents are concerned about whether or not their child will be able to sit and focus for up to an hour. My online lessons have shown great success in regards to student interest and engagement.

Lesson Pricing

Every student’s situation is different. Upon discussing a learning plan for your child, I will be able to provide an accurate price for lessons.

Lesson Lengths

I offer a variety of lesson lengths that will be discussed and decided upon based on your child’s learning needs. We will find what is right your child!

Referral Incentive

For current students, if you refer a student to Decode Education with Bek and they complete at least five private 1:1 lessons, then I will provide your child with one FREE lesson to say thank you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Small group classes are currently being finalized. If you you like to create a small group class with your child and another student of similar ability, then this is also possible.

It is very important that your child comes to lessons with required materials. Depending on the class your child is taking with me, I will provide a list of materials ahead of time. Materials may include a mini whiteboard with markers, notebook, dice, etc.

It is standard practice for tutors to have a cancellation policy to protect their business and time. My policy will be provided to you once we have discussed details for your child's lessons.
